How to login AC750 Wifi range extender setup
Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) is a feature that lets you easily connect your wireless supported client devices, such as your Wi-Fi printers, to your existing router wirelessly.
NOTE: The Wireless Protected Setup (WPS) setup one device at a given time. The wireless protected setup button is situated either on the back side or the front side of your Netgear device. Some modem or routers may not have a WPS connection. Check your product manual for the detailed list of features of your modem or router.
Connecting a device using the WPS button
Use this method if your modem or router has a WPS button
Step 1:
Find and press the Wireless Protected Setup button on your main modem or router. Alternatively, you can log in to your modem or router ’s page and push the WPS button from there also by just clicking on the same.
NOTE: To log in to your Netgear modem or router’s web-based setup page, open any browser (Google Chrome, Mozilla Firefox®, Internet Explorer®, or Safari®) and enter the IP “192.168.1.1” address on the top of your address bar then press [Enter]. You will be asked to enter your log-in details. The default Username is “Admin” and the Password is “Password” then click OK.
Step 2:
Within two (2) minutes, push the Wireless Protected Setup button on the Netgear AC750 or Netgear EX6100 wireless range extender that you want to connect to the existing wireless router or modem.
NOTE: To use the WPS feature the Netgear Ex6100 and the router should be in the same room.
Your device should now be connected to your router wirelessly using Wireless Protected Setup connection. On your Ac750 now you will be getting all four green lights and it’s ready to use.
